Reserve Bank of Australia Building is a heritage-listed bank building at 65 Martin Place, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
It was added to the Australian Commonwealth Heritage list. The Reserve Bank (1965) is a refined example of the Post War International style. The building is a 22-storey high-rise tower with three-level basement. Currently occupied by approx. 1300 RBA staff.
Our Role l Project
Relocation Consultant
Its “iconic” modernist head office at 65 Martin Place, is undergoing a massive and much-needed renovation: the original windows do not meet safety or efficiency standards and the accessibility is poor or non-existent, and the lifts servicing levels 16 to 20 are designated “end of life”. The work will be the most significant work of its kind since the building opened in January 1965. In 2022, My Move was successful through a competitive tender process and was appointed by RBA to assist in managing the many complexities of programming and relocating 1300 staff, high security restrictive workspaces, heritage artefacts and furniture, whilst also navigating an ever-changing construction program.
